 創作論述 

謝宏達之創作，根植於自然寫實與抽象語彙之融合，形式語言涵蓋印象派、古典寫實至當代抽象。其油畫技法講究濕畫濕技法（wet-on-wet），於顏料未乾之際進行層次堆疊，實現畫面自然過渡、無縫融合之質感，展現細膩卻充滿張力的視覺結構。 

作品主題多取材自大自然景致、水氣流動、雲層變幻與人體之動態結構，致力於在具象與抽象之間尋求平衡。在創作脈絡中，謝宏達與郭東榮老師長期研討抽象表現，形塑出《夢幻世界》系列，以「內在感知」為出發點，轉譯為色彩與線條的精神書寫。畫面中時而靜謐、時而奔放，彷彿夢境與現實交錯的場域，體現其對自然、生命與宇宙間深層連結的思索。 

本系列作品象徵藝術家對個體經驗與宇宙能量的對話，亦體現其創作從具象出發、朝向抽象意境遞進的創作歷程。

 Artist Biography

 Hsieh Hung-Ta

Born in Taiwan in 1971, Hsieh Hung-Ta graduated from Fu-Hsin Trade & Arts School and National Pingtung University of Science and Technology. He has worked across diverse industries, including Hong Ren Animation, Jhen Jhan Advertising, Guan Zi Beauty Group, and Li Da Engineering Company, demonstrating a cross-disciplinary background in visual design and technical integration.

A long-time practitioner of oil painting, Hsieh also engages in traditional folk therapies, integrating art and everyday aesthetics. He studied under the guidance of national treasure artist Kuo Tung-Jung and is dedicated to the exploration and innovation of abstract art.

Artistic Statement 

Hsieh Hung-Ta’s artistic practice lies at the intersection of natural realism and abstract expression. His stylistic language encompasses Impressionism, classical realism, and contemporary abstraction. Utilizing the wet-on-wet technique, he builds layers on the canvas before the paint dries, achieving seamless transitions and a delicate, yet dynamic, visual texture. 

His subject matter often draws from natural landscapes, the flow of water vapor, shifting clouds, and the dynamic structure of the human body, striving to find balance between figuration and abstraction. In collaboration with his mentor Kuo Tung-Jung, Hsieh has developed the Dreamscape series—a spiritual exploration of inner perception translated into lines and color. These works oscillate between tranquility and intensity, constructing a space where dream and reality intertwine. 

The Dreamscape series represents the artist's dialogue between personal experience and universal energy, embodying a creative journey that begins with representation and gradually moves toward the poetic realm of abstraction.
